What is the correct site for marinetti?
I tried
http://www.zip.com.au/~kashum/marinetti/marinetti.bxy
http://www.zip.com.au/~kashum/marinetti/mdk.bxy
http://www.zip.com.au/~kashum/marinetti/mfaq.bxy

Tried it, too. There was no marinetti/ folder at ...

I have a problems witrh downloading marinetti from
gmd.ed
get -uu http://www.apple2.org/marinetti/Mar.2.0.BXY
<<
If you go to http://www.apple2.org/marinetti/ , there is a
Mar.2.0.BXY download 'button'. Just clicking it starts a download to
your screen-- bad news-- so, you do a right-click and get to pick a
destination folder and the file gets downloaded.
Mar.2.0.BXY was moved to the GS. According to GS-ShrinkIt, it is
not a recognizable archive. It seems clear that the file is corrupted.
If one can not download the file under Netscape 4.5 without getting
a screwed up result, the problem is with the original file or with the
site. One cure would be for the author to just upload the thing to a
major ftp archive, like Ground.

Firstly, .bxy is a standard in the Apple II world, and is simply a .shk
file with a binary II wrapper. Changing to .shk will only make it harder
for you to download.

It is not clear how an .shk file is harder to download-- for one
thing, it's a bit smaller; for another, there is one less level of
processing to mess with. GS-ShrinkIt does not care much one way or the
other.

LOL! Well, it does illustrate why major software producers hire pros to
handle PR. Actually, except for a few slips, you and Richard had a
reasonably civil conversation.
You have helped the Marinetti author and distribution site identify
a problem or two; and, you are, obviously, a dedicated IIgs user
interested in the product. So, perhaps, the problem with downloading
will be fixed now.
