I think the interface is different for the switches. The analog is
okay, but in a PC you short out the switches when you press something.
In the Apple it is a bit different. It actually accepts a TTL signal.
Could someone else fill in here? There could be a problem with the size
of the resistance in the gravis for the analog. If it takes to long to
charge the caps to be read the response will be slow. Also, there are
only three possible buttons to hook up. So if you are hooking up four
then you may damaging or shorting something out. I have a couple
joysticks that work on the Apple and the PC. They have a switch on the
bottom that I believe fixes the problems you are having. It may be
worthwhile to get one of those and try to duplicate what they did in the
gravis.
