ShrinkIt GS, ShrinkIt and UnforkIt on a DiskCopy Image - DONE

About: SIUF.II.img

On 12/22/98 - Supertimer requested the following from his post on the
comp.sys.apple2 - Usenet newgroup:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dr. Tom, what do you think of putting Shrinkit, GS ShrinkIt, and
UnforkIt on a DiskCopy image and uploading it to the ground ftp server?
Imagine how much headache this will solve. A IIGS or IIe user with a
Mac just needs to download this disk on a Mac and use DiskCopy to make
a 3.5" disk containing all the essential programs WHICH CAN THEN
IMMEDIATELY BE USED ON A IIGS OR IIE.

As you know, this will once and forever end the
Nathanian roundabout fuss with bootstrapping binscii
from Basic.System.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

which I've done and included with this SIUF.II.img file. It's now been
uploaded to our Ground Apple II ftp site for all users needs. It's a
Disk Copy image file, containing; ShrinkIt GS v1.1, ShrinkIt v3.4 and
UnforkIt - with full documentation for them. I hope this Disk Copy
image file proves useful and functional as requested by Supertimer.
There's no reason why it shouldn't.

All of the programs on this Disk Copy image are unshrunk and ready
to use/launch.

For those with an Apple IIgs that wish to turn this Disk Copy image
file into a REAL 3.5 800k ProDOS data disk - you can use the IIgs
desktop application program 'Clone' for that purpose. It can be
downloaded from this url:

ftp://apple.cabi.net//pub/applegs/Applications/Clone.SHK

For those using a Mac, this Disk Copy image can be mounted as a ProDOS
800k 3.5 (virtual disk on your Mac desktop) or a REAL ProDOS 800k 3.5
disk - using any number of Mac utility programs for such needs like;
Disk Copy. ShrinkWrap, DiskImageMounter,Imageologist, MountImages,
Floppier, etc. all of which can be found for download from within the
following ftp url folder:

ftp://apple.cabi.net//pub/applegs/GS.Emulators/

If you need any help, suggestions or assistance with anything related to
any of this, don't hesitate to email me. I'll be happy to give you all
the help and suggestions I can offer on it.

Cheers, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year & Apple II Forever,

Charles T. 'Dr. Tom' Turley
