I didn't mention it 'cause I don't know it! However, just last week I was
given a Princeton Graphic Systems 14-inch monitor, vintage 1988, with a
25-pin input and an analogue/TTL switch mounted next to it. The cable that
was plugged in has a 15-pin VGA high density plug at its other end. I
traced the wires and built a Apple-type 15-pin D to 25-pin D cable, but I
get no display with the GS. Anyone know if it will work?

BTW, I appear to have fixed my temperamental Commodore 1084S: hairline
cracks in the solder joints around the HT seem to have been the source of
the heat-related flaking out :-)
