I'm sure you can program enough java script interpreter
into the GS web browser for it to be able to negotiate
with the web site that it is running on an Apple IIGS so
"please send the SHR, APF, MIDIsynth, rSound, and
PaintWorks versions instead of GIFs, JPEGs, MIDIs,
WAVs, and AVIs" messages can be sent.

In the end, that's all that is important. It's pretty well
been shown that, with the exception of GIF which
can in fact be decompressed and scaled in SECONDS
on a stock IIGS to 3200 color mode with Brutal
Deluxe's Convert 3200 code, the IIGS should have
its own web browser that supports its own graphics,
sounds, music, and animations rather than try to force
it to convert formats for other computers.

It is the conversion that takes time and processing
power.

The IIGS has no trouble downloading, playing
music, showing text, displaying graphics, and
even playing animations. They just need to be
in its own format.
