You must think that CD recording consists of mindlessly transferring data from
some storage device to a recorder with no number crunching involved. Ain't so.
A buddy was trying to convince me that my Quadra 700 didn't have enough 
horsepower to run a recorder faster than quad speed because he read something
to that effect. Now that seems a bit far fetched, but I expect a IIgs to be 
nowhere near fast enough. The 700 does fine with my 2x2x6 CD-RW in any event.
