     Actually, it kind of does.

     Thing is, we could get a Mac or PC and just forget it if we are
willing to let Intel and Microsoft and, possibly, Sun and AOL decide
what our computer can do. No need for emu at all.

     If we want a computer we can shape and control, the Apple II series
is still the best bet. (Besides, even Bernie would choke on trying to
emulate a 500MHz RISC '816 with 256MB RAM driving modern Sound and Video
and I/O. Maybe the S-GS could emulate the PowerMac?)
