Yes, the climate has improved very much since Nathan has left. There
is still occasional flame bait if a certain Controletti programmer makes
posts to csa2, but at least this person is only vigilant with his own
programs while Nathan attacked almost everybody who was a pirate in his
personal opinion.
I don't dislike Nathan or any other programmer, but I think Nathan has
become a victim of his "official" role. Sometimes people can't cope with
their power. It IS possible to represent the laws and to guide people to
the right track without acting like a self-centered jerk. Unfortunately,
Nathan refused to learn until the very end. He preferred destroying his
own HD instead of changing his own attitude. There has already been too
much flaming and hate from all sides to end this conflict peacefully.
But Nathan has had good programming skills and according to his friends,
he has been a better companion in the past. Perhaps he will be able to
cool off in the exile, and perhaps he will even get the desire to come
back in the far future. Perhaps a Nathan which is not bound in his own
"official" status will be a better guide. I would like to welcome the old
Nathan of the former days back to csa2.
Best wishes!
