Our web site address, A2MG, stands for The Apple II Mail Group. We send group
messages about AppleWorks, or any other Apple II subject, to the privacy of
your mailbox. Messages come - in-E-Mail - as often as once a day, or as little
as once a week - whenever there is news. In the past week, we have discussed
DeskJets, macros, mail merge, record selection rules, making AppleWorks 5.1
behave the way AppleWorks 3.0 did, the LC-IIe board, Bernie, Deja ][, and many
other subjects. Our mailing list includes authors, programmers, developers, and
testers, as well as educational and hobbyist users from all over the world.
There is nowhere else on earth where you can get the expertise and friendly

We had about 4 new people Join the Apple II Mail Group yesterday by sending in
the form at http://members.aol.com/A2MG. Unfortunately, one of them got lost,
and AOL Mail will not let me access it again. If by chance that person is
reading this, please re-send your request to join either by going back to the
web site, or by sending e-mail directly to A2MG@aol.com. You should have
received a welcome message, and MG #628 (the one about the Metropolitan Opera)
by this morning. If you didn't get it, you're the person I'm looking for. Sorry
about that.

We will be opening up a second mailing list shortly for text-only readers. If
you are on a freenet or other forum where garbage characters often appear in
your internet e-mail, please ask to join the Mail Group's "C" list (for
CompuServe) instead of the "A" list (for AOL). Otherwise, you'll be put on the
"A" list, and you can switch later if you choose.
