That is how a modem calls. It uses AT commands to dial (ie
ATDT555-5555). You can specify pauses by putting in commas. You can
also make it dial 9 then the number like this ATDT9,555-5555
The comma is a pause to allow it to switch phones networks like at a
buiseness. You can look up in a modem book to do this. What I was
wondering is if the modem will accept in the same string after it
connects. Like this ATDT555-5555,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,AT? I put
in a whole bunch of commas, I can't remember how much time each comma is
worth, but I was hoping you could put in a large enough delay then a few
more AT commands to finish connecting. It would be neat to see.
