Just a little update on this Inner Drive card. I found some old WD 40

I am stuck with the old 20MB drive. That really isn't much and you
can't put a SCSI card in with the Inner Drive card.

Unless I'm overlooking something, isn't the InnerDrive a power-supply with enclosed hard disk and a bus interface card? If so, what's preventing you from putting a small-format SCSI disk in the supply case and using it with, e.g. an Apple SCSI card? Won't be original equipment, but should provide an internal solution without a great deal of work.

Alternately, has anyone ever taken a crack at disassembling the ID host controller ROM? Or, is the issue that it requires an ATA drive with 8-bit mode?
