How to backup/arvhive DOS 3.2 disks

I am trying to make backup copies of my Apple II disks.
 I have been trying to make a backup copy of my
 System Master DOS 3.2.1 Plus. I am having lots of trouble.
 I am using Copy II Plus version 4.1.
 It will handle both DOS 3.2 & DOS 3.3 disks.
 When I format a disk as DOS 3.2 it shows lots of errors
 when I verify the disk.  If I format the disk as a DOS 3.3, I get no
errors.
 Even my original shows lots of errors.
 If I do a file verify of the copy when I do a disk copy, all files
verify.
 All files on original also verify.
 Can anyone help me with this?

 Another question is how can I make a disk archive of a DOS 3.2 disk?
