The answer to the question is found on HP's home page. The two key elements
to determine whether a particular model HP printer will work on your IIGS
are these:
 
 >   Print Languages, Std. HP PCL Level 3
 >
 >   Connectivity, Std. IEEE 1284-compatible Centronics parallel, with
 >   1284-B receptacle
 
In English....the printer supports PCL Level 3, as does Harmonie, and it has
a Parallel port, so you'll need to purchase a parallel interface card.
 
It'll work on the IIGS the same way every other PCL3 printer will work....
which just happens to be great.
