That isn't enough information. What model number and what is the exact
name given on the label?
The drive you need for a IIc is called a "UniDisk 3.5", model number
A2M2053.
I suspect what you have found is a Macintosh external 800K drive (M0106,
if I remember right). This will not work on the IIc.
Assuming you find a UniDisk 3.5, all you need is a firmware version in
the IIc which supports it.
To check this, get into BASIC and type PRINT PEEK(64447). If the number
printed is 255, you need a ROM upgrade to use the UniDisk 3.5. If the
number is 0, 3 or 4 then you are OK.
