Sider II HD unit

Hi

I have a nasty problem with my Sider HD.. the NEC 5146H MFM drive burned
out.. I was able to get a Seagate unit of similar capacity. (41meg)

I need to know how I can modify the software to accept and format the
drive. . I have the specs on it.. I don't feel like paying 300$ (Cdn) for
a rebuilt drive. Apparently it seems that the software will only take the
NEC drive.. 

I would appreciate an E-Mail reply, because I don't look at the newsgroup
often enough
