Are you sure about that? You may be right, but it has always been my
understanding that the iMac has 1 USB bus with 2 ports.Therefore, the
total devices supported is 127 (not 254), with the first two ports
available right out of the box. Anything more, and you need a hub and/or
additional devices. Of course, this point doesn't really matter...as using
127 devices at once is just as unrealistic as using 254. ;-)
