Re: Year 2000 or Apple IIe

Year 2000 problems are almost always a software problem. You do not need to add
or change any hardware.

Information about Apple II software year 2000 problems can be read at
http://members.aol.com/A2MG. Select "Apple II and the year 2000" from the main
menu.

If you don't see your software mentioned there, it is either because (A) the
original author or publisher is fixing it, or (B) we don't know about the
problem yet.

I don't know what OMNIS software is. We need more information. Please ask your
friend -

1. What software is he using?
2. What is the problem? ( -" What happens - exactly?")

If it is ProDos-based, we can probably fix it. You will have to mail us a disk
containing the program. If it is older, non-proDos based software, we probably
can't fix it.

I hope this helps.
