NuLib also runs on MS-DOS.
There was a commercial program for the Mac from GS+ called "Shrink II".
I haven't seen any mention of it still being available after GS+ closed
up shop. I am a little wary of using it, as I've encountered occasional
problems, but don't recall the details.
I normally copy the files over to the IIgs and using YankIt (another
port of part of NuLib) or GSHK to decode files, in conjunction with my
DESCII utility for handling BinSCII decoding. (Shrink II handles
BinSCII as well as NuFX.)
