     This a quite a nice breakthrough!

     Regarding OCR, your best bet is, probably, to go with plain scanned
images-- i.e. pictures of the pages. OCR is a very time-consuming way to
archive text when a variety of font sizes and styles are employed.
Besides, pics will include any diagrams and charts on a page.
