You're right, there's always things that can't really be predicted in
advance - stuff happens that kills people (may God prevent that!),
destroys computers, or otherwise removes data or its owners from "the
system" without any advance notice. Thus it would make sense for a
couple of other people to have offline copies of the material that they
can then put online if any kind of personal disaster should in fact strike.
