Here's the irony:  Apple programmed the reverse note
sequence into the Apple IIGS to signify that the IIGS
IS FINE!

Just run the IIGS self-test (disable your accelerator first
if you want to pass).  At the end, the notes go up the
scale followed by the exclamation "System OK."
