AppleWorks can save data as a DIF file, which I'm sure can be read by any
self-respecting database program on the PC side. To get the DIF files to
the PC, why not do the Internet two-step?
1. Upload the files from the IIe
2. Download the files to the PC.
Alternatively, have the PC telephone the IIe, modem to modem. (Others will
suggest getting a null-modem cable or buying a copy of CrossWorks, which
will directly translate AppleWorks to dBase, but I wanted to stick to
solutions that were no-cost and lower hassle).
