I guess this means the Auxillary memory of your //c is broken.  all the
odd column characters in 80 col are stored in regular memory, the even
columns are in auxillary memory.  If one of your ram chips are bad, I
guess it wont be that hard to desolder the offending chip and replace
it.  Looking at my //c technical reference manual shows there are 8 ram
chips (6664) or are they ram?  I'm not that good in reading electronics..
