I don't really know anything about IRC but I believe there are two
Apple II related channels. #iigs and #apple

The #iigs channel is supposed to have gone downhill and there
apparently isn't much, if any, talk of IIgs' there.

#apple is a channel created by Jawaid Bazyar, if I recall correctly,
that was supposed to be a general Apple II IRC channel to replace the
degrading #iigs channel. Apparently there is never anyone there
though.

Both these channels are on EFNet I think. Someone can correct me if
I'm wrong. Like I said, I really don't know anything about IRC as I
have never used it.

Then there are the chat areas of the A2 and A2Pro forums on Delphi.
If you sign up for a free web based account on Delphi, you can use
your web browser to participate in the chats there. If you get a paid
account you can participate through the web, telnet or direct dial up
(depending on which type of account you get). You can access the chat
rooms with the following URLs:

A2 Forum (general Apple II related stuff):

http://www.delphi.com/dir-app/chat/forumchat.asp?sigdir=apple2

A2Pro Forum (Apple II programming related stuff):

http://www.delphi.com/dir-app/chat/forumchat.asp?sigdir=a2pro

If you don't have an account, trying to connect to a chat room will
prompt you for your username and password but there will be a
registration information on that page as well.
