screen background?

okay...  i know it's been covered here before, but i lost the message
that mentioned it...

not long after i got my Focus 20MB drive from Altech, i did something
(don't know WHAT!) that messed up my desktop background.  what can i
do to change it to something that looks a bit better?

(don't hesitate to e-mail me a copy of your reply, since it's not
uncommon for my connection at work to drop untold quantities of
messages...)
