Hello Folks,
Back in the day when I first owned my Apple //e, I never had a hard drive.
But there one guy who was local that had a Davong 10 meg hard drive, and as
far as we were concerned it was AWESOME!
I'm looking to add a hard drive to my Apple //e and need to know if hard
drives are supported under DOS 3.3. I never made the transition to ProDOS.
The guy with the Davong hard drive used to be able to split his hard drive
into different volumes, i.e.: The first volume was S6, D1, V001. Is this
natively supported on DOS 3.3 or was this a special scenario of the Davong
company? Was it accomplished through a special configuration program which
is still available?
If anyone has answers, please let me know! Thanks in advance.
