I'm listening to tape 1 now. It's a shame they don't have this kind of
step-by-step tutorial today. My dad used to teach computer and
programming classes in the 1970s and 1980s here in Sydney, using the
Apple II or Microbee. Ironically, today he finds he's no good at using
a Macintosh. I guess he's very literal minded and he really needs sets
of explicit steps he can follow to learn something new, like the way
this tape lesson is given. You tend not get this with new computers.
