HyperCard IIgs is a program for the Apple IIgs, not a piece of
hardware. It was created by Apple and was reclassified as System
Software a while back and is therefore free to obtain and use (there
is a license file that accompanies them that explains restrictions and
stuff). It is available from (put this all on one line):

     ftp://ftp.apple.com/Apple_Support_Area/Apple_Soft
     ware_Updates/US/Apple_II/HyperCard_IIGS_1.1/

HyperCard IIgs is a development system. You can use it to create your
own "things" (for lack of a better word. You can create slide shows,
databases, games; pretty much anything you can think of.

It is also a multimedia based development system so that you can
combine text, graphics, music, sound (and even live video or still
shots if you have the right hardware).

The Apple II University in the A2Pro Forum of Delphi has just started
a course teaching people how to create their own "stacks". The course
will take you step by step through the process of creating your own
Personal Information Manager (to keep track of people's names,
addresses, phone numbers, e-mail address; to keep track of
appointments and other tasks; that sort of thing).

A little information about HyperCard IIgs will soon be available from
the A2Pro web page at:

     http://www.delphi.com/a2pro

For information about the HyperCard IIgs Course use the A2 University
link of the A2Pro page. Lessons for the course will be availabe in
the A2Pro's A2 University database as well as the A2 University
Download page which is linked off the A2 University page.

But don't forget, these pages haven't been made available yet but they
should be available soon.
