Most of the time they're given away free (one school out
here in Montreal was trying to get rid of over 100 Apple IIe
computers, and in the end sent them to a recycling plant--I
did try my best get them donated to a charity, though I doubt
they followed my advise). If you want to know how much it is
worth, I would say roughly about $5.

Note that you will require a 5.25 floppy drive as well
as a controller card for it to be of any use. You will also
need a monochrome screen if you wish to display 80 columns
text (and replace the 80 columns card with an Extended 80
Columns card to run most IIe software out there, as many
titles required 128K and Double-Hi-Res graphics mode).
