I also found out, the hard way, that there's a bug in the original //c's 
"self-test" routine - if you SolidApple-Control-Reset, wait for the pattern to 
display, then hit OpenApple-Control-Reset, the disk you boot off of will get 
screwed up somehow.

I managed to blast away a couple disks with this before I realized what was 
happening. Since then I just never ran the self-test, or if I did, I shut the 
//c right off and then powered it back on.
