If this was a Mac, I'd suggest zapping the PRAM, but I'm not sure if
there is an easy way to do this on the IIgs.

Using the "restore defaults" option (Ctrl-Option-Reset, choose item 2 or
3 as appropriate) _might_ be sufficient, but I think it only rewrites
the Control Panel settings, not the entire battery RAM.

Does anyone know of any utilities that can completely erase the battery
RAM, and force it to be rebuilt from scratch?
