GOlden Orchard problems on a Mac

I do not have a CD-ROM or SCSI card on my GS but thought I could use the 
cd on my mac and transfer files. Well in the instructions is says that 
you can only mount the CD right on a mac with FWB CD-ROM Toolkit. Well I 
have version 3 of that program and every time I put the CD in the drive 
the computer hangs. I even let the computer sit 2 hours to see waht would 
happen and nothing did. I also enabled CD-ROM Toolkit to see ProDOS CDs 
and ISO:9660. Does anyone know what the problem is? Please email if you
