Have I tried this?   I went and checked the Finder PREFERENces menu to make sure I
didn't miss anything major.


Lets say you Open a Disk (by clicking on it from the FINDER).  You want to get to
DISK/FOLDERA/FOLDERB

You only want to see FOLDERB, but You have to open DISK, and then FOLDERA first.
DISK and FOLDERA are still open on the desktop.  The only way these PREVIOUS folders
will disappear from the screen is if you HOLD (option Is the key, I think) while you
open a new folder.

Most of the time, I dont want to do anything about  DISK or FOLDERA.  They are just
cluttering up the screen.  Is it a big deal to hold OPTION?  No.   I do think it
should be reversed from how it works though.

Make it so you have to HOLD option to leave DISK or FOLDERA open.
