     There are a few games which might fit. One is Truckin' from Imagic.
Cross-Country USA is another possibility-- mainly a geography game; but,
you had road hazards, rain, etc. and, I think, a CB radio.

     A company named Abracadata produced a number of railroad and other
simulations; they may have done one for trucking.
