Good things, crazy ones, changing things and Woz
I wanted to share this email reply from Woz, with his consent. with
everybody that reads this newsgroup,
unedited............................................
(excluding the no.spame.please insert :) and in exact copy, just
as as I received it. Not so much for the mention of the PowerBook and
Mac's - although that part has a great message within it - if you read
between the lines. But, you can ignore that part if you like :) After
all, this is an Apple II newsgroup. What I'd like you to read and think
about is the NEW quote he included after his name, and the message it
presents, sent especially for a few such people in the old and current
A2 community to read and contemplate what it says, (I think you know who
I'm addressing this to; -> R-J-B-K-P-S-MD-DT-AL-E-J-O-A-JPC-DE and OG)
in the hope that it might just motivate, stimulate and show you what
you can do, how much your talents are needed, how much you can change
things for the better in this A2 community with what you have to offer
to all those that really need it.

Glad to hear so many good things. I'm also glad that the PowerBook is
working out for you. I get into a lot of arguments when I stand up for
the 5300's mostly from people that had blown their wad on the 500
series and had to find something to say why theirs was 'better' even
though it wasn't.

Here's to the crazy ones,the
misfits, the rebels, the
troublemakers. The round pegs in
the square holes. They're not
fond of rules, and they have no
respect for the status quo. You
can quote them. Disagree with
them. Glorify or vilify them.
About the only thing you can't
do is ignore them, because they
change things. And while some
may see them as the crazy ones,
we see genius. Because the
people who are crazy enough to
think they can change the world
are the ones who do.

So how about it folks? I hope you all get the message as it's intended. Go for
it,
give it to your fellow Apple II users that are waiting, wanting and hoping. Is
anybody ready for some Revamped VAMPS? ;)
Cheers,
Tom
