     Fair enough. Let's see ... how many times does this make it that
the 'usual suspects' have taken a shot at Asimov? Actually, over the
years, I've lost count. Yet, the mini-clique of II wreckers still
expects us to believe ...

1. that, really, they _love_ our Apple II archives

2. that their desperate wish to force users to subscribe to hidden
for-pay archives has nothing to do with their attacks upon free public
archives

3. that they never, ever, mailbomb copyright owners with "information"
and complaints about software on Apple II archives

4. that SQC does not know anything about Awks 5 being on Asimov-- this
despite the fact that an SQC rep has repeatedly posted comments on its
presence

5. that everybody knows about Asimov _except_ copyright owners and the
legally constituted Law enforcement authorities

6. that they are above the Law and that slander is okay when they employ
it

7. that it is okay to take the Law into you own hands, hack through
security, and destroy all files on an archive as was done on at least
one occasion   

8. that, since they have large software collections, it is "right" to
shut off everyone else's access to old Apple II software 


     Meanwhile, every time these turkeys start spouting their vigilante
rhetoric, someone, sooner or later, points to Asimov and asks:

If Asimov is all that illegal and copyright owners don't like it, how
come the Law hasn't closed it? (Duh!)


     Really, Patrick, you have to admit that watching the would-be
wreckers turn purple and rant and drool lame platitudes is kind of fun.

     99.9% of Apple II users appreciate Asimov. Keep up the good work.
