And beyond being annoying, they are useless.  I run asimov, so I set the
ground rules, which I believe to be fair.  If the "moral crusaders" want
to start their own archive, where they ask the copyright holders
for permission for everything they post, I say: "Go to it!".  Start your
own archive or help out with the Treasure Chest project.  Prove to all of
us how effective that technique can be!

But there's no point in rehashing the same arguments every 2 months.  Asimov
has been around for years and I inherited the archive from someone who had
been running a similar archive for just as long.  All the newsgroup vitrol
there is won't change that.
