That's an affirmative for SOME two button mice. ;-)
Mine is an Info two button mouse, model MUS2M, sold for the Mac but
works fine on my IIGS. One button is a normal click. The second button
is a click-lock (makes the menus stay down like they do under Win95
and the newer MacOS).
Whether the second button on a particular mouse will work or not
depends on whether it is controlled by a software Desk Accessory
of Control Panel on the Mac. If such software is needed, the second
button probably will not work unless someone writes the equivalent
software for the IIGS. If NO software is needed (like the case with
the Info mouse) then it WILL work on the IIGS just like on Mac.
