Here is what you said about Second Sight:

By the way, I agree with you on the faults of the Second Sight card.
I always thought it was a mistake to make a video card that used the
standard slots in a IIgs. It slows down data transfer too much and
requires that the video card have a processor to manipulate the data
in that memory. The basic design I came up with years ago and haven't
had a chance to try to implement would work much better.

First, you quote and agree with Mitch's negative assessment. Then, you
elaborate by focusing upon critical design flaws. Also, there do not
seem to be any positive comments. Most people call this "slamming" a
product.

Below is the section of your post in question:

This just throws the door wide open and screams for a promotion of
Delphi and other alternative Apple II discussion areas. :-)

Delphi offers free web accounts and telnet accounts (you need your own
ISP to access Delphi via telnet) for $35 US per year. There are other
dial-up accounts but the telnet account is definitely the best deal.

Don't forget, Mitch, that if you decide to give up on comp.sys.apple2
there are still other places to discuss the Apple II and still have a
good time doing it. I know, I for one, would miss your presence. We
may not have talked a whole lot but I do feel with a have a bit of a
friendship.

You quote Mitch's complaint about criticism here, observe that it
"screams for a promotion of Delphi and other alternative Apple II
discussion areas", and, then launch into a Delphi commercial. A little
later you tell Mitch that "if you decide to give up on comp.sys.apple2
there are still other places to discuss the Apple II".

It looks like you are linking hits on this newsgroup to commercials
for a forum on Delphi. You can do this-- no one will delete or hide your
message-- but, it is not necessary.

If you would like Apple II users to visit A2-Delphi, why not just
post a "Visit the A2 forum on Delphi Today" message?
