Should I Resurrect My //c?
I have an Apple //c that is rotting in my basement, and was wondering
what can be done with it now (as opposed to fifteen years ago). I am a
newbie to this NG, so you can assume that I have read very little of the
info here.
I guess the bottom line of my question is this: can I make my //c a
viable portable--a la laptop--computer, such as for use at school
perhaps? I would need to be able to get info into and out of it from an
IBM PC. I never did see the answer to the post about using batteries
instead of the power cord.
I have seen lots of stuff posted concerning the IIgs. Is there any
graphical OSs for the //c? How can I get stuff from, say Asimov's (or
wherever) from my IBM to my //c? I do have an old modem but have no
idea if it works, and haven't the right connections for it. Is
crossworks any good?
Sorry for rambling; I figure I just need to see a few opinions and a FAQ
link or two. BTW, are there any pages discussing the use of
double-highres graphics?
All thoughts will be appreciated,
Armagon
