Whoops... I realized after I posted the message that the GS-RAM card is a 
1.5mb card, not a 6mb card as I had assumed.  I did not look closely 
enough at the RAM chips.  The Finder sees all 1536k on the card but the 
16L8-15CN chip gets hot.  About that chip... on my C.V. Tech 4mb RAM 
card there is a similar socketed chip labelled "GAL16V8A-15LP".  I 
suppose it's the same chip.
