Re: Apple // sighting in movie
Okay, so it isn't a theatrical release, but....
At Paramount's Kings Island (Cincinnati, Ohio) and Paramount's Kings
Dominion (Richmond, Virginia) you can ride an indoor catapult-launched
looping roller coaster called, "The Outer Limits: Flight of Fear".
(Advice: Shove your head forward, clear of the shoulder bar, as soon as
the launch ends to keep from being beaten senseless...)
Anyway, the queue winds through a large aircraft hangar occupied by a
large flying saucer. Well, it looks like a flying saucer, anyway...it
doesn't actually fly as it sits there, which is a good thing since the
loading platform is inside. Anyway, on monitors scattered throughout the
queue, a video pre-show runs, showing you what is going on elsewhere in
this "installation."
There is one point in the show where a Macintosh is clearly visible on a
wire shelf. Next to the Macintosh is what we can all readily identify as
an Apple IIgs. No "Woz" signature, though...
