I have to call his bluff...

This is most likely a Woz limited edition Apple IIgs (about 1000 or so
cases were produced). This is usually a ROM00 motherboard and it is
worth US$50.

Even if it where signed in pen (not silked screened) by the Woz
himself. I am almost certain I could drive to his house in Los Gatos,
unannounced, knock on his garage door, and ask him to sign my IIgs.
It still would not be worth anywhere near US$10,000 (nor CDN$10,000
for that matter).

The only two Apple computer that comes near US$10,000 is the Apple I
which only 177 were sold. If you can find S/N000001, come talk (it
was lost in the mail).

The other model is the 20th Anniversary Mac, but it can probably only
pull US$8,000-US$9,000.

So please, don't try to pass this off as being rare. I just hope you
weren't suckered into paying anything over US$50.

While I am on a rant, I wish people would also stop trying to sell
Apple ///'s and calling them rare. They can be found at WierdStuff in
Sunnyvale for US$26.
