Let's personalize the statement "support those who support the Apple II"
so it doesn't ring so hollow.

Before leaving for KansasFest, I sent Tom Weishaar a check for $250.
That was for royalties on A2-Central disks I'd sold this year.

With very few exceptions (the exceptions are those programs that SSII
purchased the rights for such as Contacts GS and Addressed For Success),
all the commercial software sold by Shareware Solutions II involves a
royalty arrangement where the copyright holder receives money from
Shareware Solutions II.

Shareware Solutions II actually 'supports' quite a few Apple II
programmers. Among some of those who currently receive money from SSII
are Seven Hills, Sheppy, Bill Heieneman, WestCode Software, Steve
Disbrow, Chuck Newby (and Glen Bredon), HangTime, Brutal Deluxe, Ewen
Wannop, Jim Maricondo, and quite a few others.

IOW, Shareware Solutions II has "put its money where its mouth is." When
you purchase products from Shareware Solutions II, you are giving money
not only to SSII, but to those who have produced some great Apple II
software. Fortunately, in return, you're getting some really good, useful
and low-cost software.
