While turning on your computer, hold down the OPTION key. This will lead
to a 4 option menu. 1 = enter control panels
                    2 = switch to 50 Hz    (or 60 :-)
                    3 = switch to 60 Hz    (or 50 :-)
                    4 = continue starting computer

Switching Hz will erase the current control panel settings. So be sure
to take notice of your current settings.
