What's WebWorks GS?
 
   WebWorks GS is a source-level HTML editor for Apple IIgs computers. It
   provides a complete text editor, with HTML-specific additions that
   help you create complex, beautiful web pages with less effort than
   ever before, right on your Apple IIgs computer.
 
   Unlike a graphical editor like Adobe PageMill or Claris Home Page,
   once you've mastered WebWorks GS and the HTML formatting commands, you
   can create web pages with absolute control, and with total certainty
   that the result will be exactly what you expect -- graphical editors
   can produce HTML documents that don't work reliably or have lots of
   unnecessary stuff slowing down your users' access time and wasting
   valuable space on your server.
 
   Using WebWorks GS, you can lay out a web page with tables, graphics,
   and lists by simply selecting a menu option and filling out an
   on-screen form:

   For instance, the above dialog box lets you create a new table. Here,
   all of the fields are optional, but if you wish, you can specify the
   Caption, Width (either absolute or as a percentage), Caption
   Alignment, Cell Spacing, Cell Padding, Frame positioning, Rules,
   Border width, and Summary text.

   New in WebWorks GS 1.1! WebWorks GS version 1.1 has been released, as
   of August 9, 1998! This new update fixes a bug (the ) character wasn't
   automatically translated properly, and using it could cause a crash),
   and adds an exciting new feature!
 
   WebWorks GS 1.1 now includes a View Page option, which lets you look
   at how your web page will look when viewed in Spectrum Internet Suite
   (SIS), the Web browser published by Seven Hills. Now you can check out
   how Apple IIgs users will see your page without quitting WebWorks GS
   to run SIS! Thanks to Ewen Wannop and Geoff Weiss for providing the
   necessary HTML display engine to provide this valuable feature.
 
   A downloadable updater is available which allows WebWorks GS 1.0 users
   to upgrade their copy of WebWorks GS to version 1.1.
