AW GS installation on HD
i have Appleworks GS (forget what version-- i bought it in '89 or '90)
and i want to install it on my (recently acquired) Focus HD. i can't
look this up in the dox 'cause the books have long since
disappeared...
there's a README file there about installing AWGS, and it offers
instructions on installing it on the HD without overwriting some
system files. i followed the instructions and AWGS will RUN, but when
i try to open a new file, it says that the module (whether it is the
Word Processing, Database, etc) cannot be opened.
as i understood it, all that i had to do was copy the Program disk and
the Utilities disk onto the HD, right? i read the instructions to say
that the Utilities disk files were to be copied into the Program
disk's folder. is the Utilities disk supposed to be in its OWN
folder?
any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
