Perhaps, but today those screens are just grafitti. I recall seeing
some that are racially offensive ("Klu Klux Klan" something).

If you want to preserve the original look and feel of something, it
makes sense to "remove the grafitti"...I suggest that anyone using
the Asimov site and has the ability to remove the screens do so
and upload a cleaned up image.

As for me....I have never used Asimov nor can I since I lack a
5.25" drive.

However, once upon a time, I did have a 5.25" drive. I still want
to figure out how I cracked SongWriter and the Paws Typing
demo. I remember that both programs booted directly into a
binary program file, so you could not break into BASIC. The
times I was able to do so, DOS commands like CATALOG
did not work. If you boot up a regular DOS disk, you could not
access the protected disks.

Somehow, I was able to get all the files onto a regular DOS
3.3 disk. I may have, after breaking into BASIC on the
protected disk that was priorly booted, loaded Copy II+
blindly from another disk. I may have somehow used INIT
to format a new disk from the copy protected one using its
DOS. I don't remember....

Any ideas dear csa2 readers? Thank you all....
