My experience with Apple and proprietary information is that they are
usually willing to give to you for free or low cost if you sign a
non-disclosure agreement.
However, the problem is usually finding the right person to talk to.
Apple is an enigma wrapped in a riddle that is covered in a pectin
shell.
Has anyone specifically tried to get information from Apple? Who,
when, and how?
It is not impossible, since recently there is a product that will
render PostScript for the SytleWriter family on the Macintosh (but it
can't be used as networked printer!).
