Though our GS 3.5" drives have been screwed a couple times, there
was nothing very special about the sounds they made.
I vaguely recall something about making sounds on 5.25" and other
disk drives; but, do not know where any of these programs are. You could
experiment using the head move commands and RWTS routines (e.g. SEEK
track). Good documentation for this stuff is in Beneath Apple DOS by
Worth & Lechner.
